Maxwell and his owner were BOTH drunk, as police discovered when they arrested the owner for DUI. Maxwell just did what all dogs do... they clean up our spills:
This arrest actually points to a bigger issue... how we should protect our pets from alcohol in our homes, vehicles, etc. If you spill it, they will drink it. If it's within reach, they will drink it. And it doesn't take much for them to get alcohol poisoning.
