Reporter Who Dug Up Carson King's Racist Tweets Loses Job For Same Thing

What goes around, comes around.

Carson King, the guy who raised over $1 million dollars for a children's hospital, was exposed by a reporter for racist tweets from 2012, when he was 16 years old.

Readers looked into the reporter's tweets and found the same thing. He no longer works for that newspaper.

I don't know about you, but I've reached the point that I want to delete all social media and make everyone start from scratch. But that won't really solve the problem, will it? People love digging up dirt and pointing fingers.

The good news is that hospital will still benefit. The fund has grown to $1.5 million... and Carson still wants to make a difference-- he's shooting for $2 million. A lot of people in his shoes would have said forget it and quit.

I really like one tweet in this story, though.

I think the Governor is saying something we all should hear... and share on social media, maybe.
