The Governor of Nebraska is urging people to bump elbows instead of shaking hands.
Pete Ricketts posted a Twitter video of people at the National Quarantine Unit doing just that. It's the latest to urge people not to get too close during the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
There's a viral video of Chinese people greeting each other by tapping their shoes.
The National University of Singapore tweeted people either wave at each other, bump elbows, or adopt the traditional Thai greeting of pressing palms together and a slight bow.
All the concern about getting too close may mean the old-fashioned handshake may be on the way out.
