Mobile Area Chamber Postpones
Late Summer / Early Fall Events
[Mobile, Ala., 08.16.2021]The Mobile Area Chamber is postponing several events, starting with this week’s Business Expo, previously scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 19.
Other key events on hold will be:
- Small Business of the Year Awards
- State of the City & County
Where possible we will hold events virtually like the Chamber’s small business monthly forum, Executive Roundtable.
While this was not an easy decision, we are very aware of the continuing spread of COVID-19’s Delta variant and the stress it is putting on our hospitals and entire healthcare system. For these reasons, we feel this decision is in the best interest of our community,” said Bill Sisson, the Mobile Area Chamber’s president and CEO.
