Venture back to a time when the dinosaurs roamed the earth! Experience up-close encounters with a lifelike Stegosaurus, Velociraptor and the king T-Rex in this thrilling walk-through exhibit. FOUNDER’S DAY/ MR. BELLINGRATH’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION- Sunday 8am-5pm, Bellingrath Gardens, Theodore

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 6, 1869, Walter D. Bellingrath was Mobile’s first Coca-Cola bottler and the founder of Bellingrath Gardens and Home. BATTLE OF MOBILE BAY COMMEMORATION: Fort Morgan - Sat 9am-3pm, Fort Morgan Historic Site, Gulf Shores

Historical interpreters will portray members during the Civil War  period of the fort's occupation.  Demonstrations of small arms,  stories of men and women who lived or died here, explanations of the construction, and artillery firing are a few of the stations you can visit. CLICK HERE


BATTLE OF MOBILE BAY COMMEMORATION: Fort Gaines - Sat 9am-5pm, Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island

The well-preserved ramparts of Fort Gaines have guarded the entrance to Mobile Bay for more than 150 years. The event highlights Fort Gaines integral role in the Battle of Mobile Bay. The cannon will be fired every hour in honor of the soldiers that fought in this pivotal battle.  CLICK HERE
