Actress Betty White is 97 today.
An acquaintance tells Closer Weekly that she'll be celebrating with a low key party with good food, music and close friends. (Bummer... we liked it when she said she was celebrating with Robert Redford! How many years ago was that?!)
The former Golden Girls star reportedly has some mobility challenges, but still has a sharp mind doing crossword and staying current with news and entertainment. (That's good advice for all of us on staying sharp! More advice from Betty in the Golden Globes tweet below...)
White, who has been widowed since her husband Allen Ludden's death in 1981, spends her time these days with friends and her three stepchildren.
