The Hangout Fest will return to the beach in Gulf Shores from May 15th through 17th, and the line-up has finally been announced. Highlights include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Marsh Mello and Cage the Elephant. It's the eleventh edition of Hangout Fest, and it seems to get bigger every year.
By the way, if you're old enough to say you've never heard of these acts, you're apparently not alone. An article abuot the Hangout at al.com is titled: "Who are all these people?". But it clearly works both ways, as 17-year-old Billie Eilish showed us on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She's never heard of Van Halen?
Tickets for this year's festival will go on sale officially Monday, December 9th at 10AM, but there will be a pre-sale (of course!). You can sign up now to get early access to tickets starting this Friday (12/6) at 10AM. You'll need to give Hangout Fest your cell phone number, and they'll text you a link to buy tickets. Go to THIS LINK for more info on the pre-sale. A typical three-day admission ticket runs $299 plus fees, while a standard VIP 3-day ticket goes for $1,099. There's an even better VIP ticket for $1,699.
