Last year, for the first time since 1901, conversation hearts were NOT on sale for Valentine's Day. And it broke a lot of hearts.
They'll be back this year . . . but the new owners say they couldn't make enough supply to meet the demand, and their printer broke so a lot of the hearts you get will be BLANK.
Best bet to find 'em? CVS and Walgreens.
Oh, and one really cool note. While digging through everything at the old plant, the new company found the 118-year old recipe... so flavors like banana and wintergreen will be back.
