Rooting For Him, But I Couldn't Watch- Joey Chestnut Breaks Hot Dog Record

Joey Chestnut is continuing his reign as the world's hot dog eating champ. Chestnut set a new record at this year's annual Nathan's Hot Dog-Eating Contest at New York's Coney Island. Chestnut ate 75 hot dogs, buns and all, in ten minutes, beating his competitor by 33 dogs.

It's Chestnut's 13th time taking home the Mustard Yellow Belt over the past 14 years. That caused some to proclaim him the GOAT of GOATS... which didn't sit well with people who don't consider this a sport.

But Joey trains for this... see what he told ESPN's 30 for 30 about it.

And he's a nice guy, or at least he was when he stopped by our studio years ago (2014) to promote the Indian Taco Eating competition at Wind Creek. Which he didn't win.

So, because I really liked him in person, I was rooting for him to break his own record (which he vowed to do).

But because it is what it is, I couldn't watch. But here it is, if you can.
