A portion of Disney World in Orlando, Florida will partially reopen this weekend, despite the rising number of coronavirus cases in the state.
The Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park will open its doors Saturday. EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studio will reopen July 15th. The Disney Springs shopping and dining district reopened May 20th.
On Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis defended the resort reopening, saying he has no doubts that the company put a priority on safety.
Here are the steps Disney World is taking. Precautions include requiring masks for cast members and guests ages two and older.
