I can't remember the last time I played Monopoly, but I always found the Community Chest cards to be a little odd. What is a holiday fund? For that matter, what's a Community Chest?
Well, that's about to change.
After what the company calls the "tumultuous year of 2020," Hasbro is changing all 16 Monopoly Community Chest cards for the first time in 85 years.
They want the new cards to embrace a "new sense of community" and they're asking fans to vote at MonopolyCommunityChest.com.
There are positives, like helping to clean up a neighbor's yard after a big storm (Collect $200!).
And negatives, like you found a wallet on the sidewalk and didn't return it (Go directly to Jail, do not collect $200).
My fave? "You rescue a puppy...and you feel rescued too! (Get out of Jail Free)"
