Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass set off a debate when he tweeted "The flight attendant @united just made my 22 week pregnant wife traveling with a 5 year old and 2 year old get on her hands and knees to pick up the popcorn mess by my youngest daughter. Are you kidding me?!?!"
His tweet has gone viral, with nearly 13-thousand replies, and he probably didn't expect the backlash he got.
Lots of people tweeted that it's your responsibilty to clean up after your children.
But etiquette expert and former flight attendant Jacqueline Whitmore was on HIS side, saying it was the airline's responsibility to clean up the popcorn THEY provided.
