"Pay It Backward" Isn't A Thing

You've heard of "pay it forward" at a drive-thru, where someone pays for the person behind him.

Samantha is going viral on TikTok after she experienced someone who tried to "pay it backward" -- he told the cashier at Dunkin that the car behind him would pay for HIS drink.

That, of course, came as a surprise to Samantha.

And no, she didn't pay for his drink. But she did come back later to "pay it forward" for someone else.
