ALABAMA 200TH BIRTHDAY KICKOFF- Fri 6pm- 10pm, Mobile Mardi Gras Park, Cooper Riverside Park

GULF COAST HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL- Fri 2pm-10pm, Sat 9am-10pm, Foley Festival Grounds, Hwy 98
The festival features 35 hot air balloons from across the country. It kicks off Thursday with a Balloon Glow at Tanger Outlet Center in Foley from 6pm to 8pm. During the festival Friday and Saturday, balloons will only be visible at dusk and dawn, weather permitting. Tethered balloon rides are planned both evenings, around 7pm.
