BLACK JACKET SYMPHONY presents FLEETWOOD MAC’S RUMOURS- Fri 7pm, Mobile Saenger Theatre

Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” album is performed in its entirety by a group of handpicked musicians specifically selected for that album.  The second set features a selection of Fleetwood Mac’s “greatest hits” accompanied by all the bells and whistles of a major rock and roll show.  CLICK HERE    


ALABAMA 200TH BIRTHDAY KICKOFFFri 6pm- 10pm, Mobile Mardi Gras Park, Cooper Riverside Park

Free family fun, including children’s activities and face painting, followed by fireworks from the river, and a concert by ISing.  Free admission.  The 3 year celebration of Alabama’s Bicentennial kicks off in Mobile.  CLICK HERE   


GULF COAST HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVALFri 2pm-10pm, Sat 9am-10pm, Foley Festival Grounds, Hwy 98

The festival features 35 hot air balloons from across the country.  It kicks off Thursday with a Balloon Glow at Tanger Outlet Center in Foley from 6pm to 8pm.  During the festival Friday and Saturday, balloons will only be visible at dusk and dawn, weather permitting.  Tethered balloon rides are planned both evenings, around 7pm.
