Teens Are As Inactive As 60-year-olds

The average American teenager is no more active than the average 60-year-old.

If you have a teen in your household, you know the reason why.  They're glued to their phones and video screens.  They're watching videos, playing games, on Snapchat.

What they're NOT doing is moving.  (Unless they're involved in after-school activities, such as sports or dance or band).

The study shows they start moving more in their 20s (when they hit college and are working and have less time for sitting?)

The World Health Organization recommendations to engage in at least an hour of moderate physical activity a day between the ages of 5 and 17.

Got to get them up and moving... maybe we need to lead by example?  (I must confess, I was never good at that part)
