A new study is bound to get backlash on Twitter, because it takes aim at millennials and their spending habits.
But seriously, as the parent of two 20-somethings, I'm over trying to explain why they never seem to have any money when I see that they eat out every day and go out whenever they want.
Most adults have had to learn to live within their means and sometimes that means doing without, if there's something bigger (like a house or a car) that you need to save for. And I'm sure millennials will learn that lesson too.
The only difference is we see those growing pains all over Twitter.
Several weeks ago, millenials were outraged when an Australian billionaire suggested that they were spending so much on avocado toast that they couldn't afford a home.
