What do you do when you know there's an emergency situation, you're hundreds of miles away, and you can't get through to anyone to help? And then you lose contact with your loved ones?
That's what Timothy McIntosh did, when his mother-in-law sent this picture from La Vita Bella assisted living.

Galveston County's The Daily News said the "unbelievable picture led many to question its authenticity", but they called emergency officials and confirmed that 18 people were rescued from that facility--
