It was a SUPER day at USA Chldren's & Women's Hospital, with super heroes rappeling down the wall of the hospital for the bell ringing ceremony.
Ringing the bell means cancer treatment is over. It's a big deal, and USA Children's & Women's always makes it a big day for these kids.
Did I say kids? Dr Imran called them superheroes, "because you defeated the monster of cancer". And they all wore buttons that said "I won".
Like I said, it was a SUPER day!
Congratulations to all the bell ringers-- Emiliano, Demontre, Walker, Shephard, Jamell, Jessica, Savannah, Jaden and Travarous!!
Oh, and those "other" superheroes? They're from the City of Mobile Fire Rescue Department and City of Mobile Police Department SWAT team. And some of them were real crowd pleasers, especially Spiderman (showing off as he came down the building!) and Paw Patrol (yes, that is a real K-9!)
