This is what I read as I headed home yesterday---
I was planning to take the Cochran/Africatown bridge, til my husband called and said he was stuck in traffic all the way back to the foot of the bridge. Apparently this person was ahead of him--
Downtown Mobile? Well.....
Of course, we're used to backups. And they can be really frustrating. But that's NOTHING compared to the frustration of those trying to get back home, not knowing what they're coming back to because of Irma.
An appeal for patience, as these Florida evacuees make their way home. There's a whole state's worth of people heading that way...
