Bailey Sellers turned 21 over the weekend... and she got flowers from her Dad (which she was expecting) and a final love letter (which she wasn't expecting).
Her Dad made sure, as he was dying, that his daughter would get flowers every birthday through the 21st, but this last bouquet came with a hand-written note--
My dad passed away when I was 16 from cancer and before he died he pre payed flowers so i could receive them every year on my birthday. Well this is my 21st birthday flowers and the last. Miss you so much daddy. 💜 pic.twitter.com/vSafKyB2uO— Bailey Sellers (@SellersBailey) November 24, 2017
Grab a tissue and read more on the story here---
Twitter has been kind and supportive, helping her deal with the fact that the flowers won't be coming anymore....
I know. Every year I looked forward to my birthday because I felt like he was still here with me but this is the last year I get them so it's so heart breaking. 😐— Bailey Sellers (@SellersBailey) November 24, 2017
Makes sense Bailey but I hope you can also see the message he likely intended by stopping them.— Cheryl Prevor Psy.D (@DrCherylllP) November 25, 2017
He believes in you.
He believes that you are capable of wondrous things.
He believes YOU are ready to be without the flowers even if you don't know it yet.
If you are the Florist in Tennessee that sends Bailey Sellers flowers for her birthday every year, paid for by her Dad before he passed away, please let me know who you are. I'll pay for next year!— Rob (@Mikes_Brother) November 25, 2017
