Drunk Man Cooks His Own Meal at Waffle House

So this drunk guy walks into a Waffle House.  

Sounds like the start of a bad joke, right?  Well, for the guy who was supposed to be working there, but had fallen asleep in a booth, it was.  

Because this guy not only helped himself to the kitchen, but he posted about it on Facebook.  

So what happened when Waffle House saw this?  Well, they apologized to Alex . . . suspended the employee who was asleep . . . and said they really hope that in the future, no customers go behind the counter. 

Here's the official statement they issued to reporters-  

Our local Division Manager has spoken to Alex and apologized. For safety reasons, our customers should never have to go behind the counter. Rather they should get a quality experience delivered by friendly associates. We are reviewing this incident and will take appropriate disciplinary action.

In a related note, obviously Alex has some cooking skills, and we’d like to talk to him about a job since we may have something for him.
