I'm not trying to alarm anyone... but the CDC says we're on track for one of the most severe flu seasons in recent years.
Widespread flu is reported in 46 states. (I would like to schedule vacation in one of the other 4, please!)
So how do you tell if it's the flu?
You could go to the doctor and get a swab test. That's how we determined that my husband had the flu, but I didn't.
BTW, I don't recommend the swab test, because it's awful. It tells you what you need to know, but ewwwwwww... I was thinking THROAT (like strep test), not NOSE. Ewwwwwwwwww!
Here's a basic run-down of what's running us down...
Easier test... if you look and feel like this... it's flu! Please wrap yourself up in a blanket and stay home from work!
