Crazy Happened, So We Get Free Lunch!

Things just got crazy, crazy for Little Caesars "pizza, pizza".

The company tweeted Friday that if a #16 beats a #1 in men's basketball that night, they'd give everyone in the country a free lunch combo . . . that's a personal deep dish pizza and a bottle of soda.  

That SEEMED like a safe bet.

But as all of us with busted brackets know too well, crazy happened.

Friday, the University of Maryland-Baltimore County beat the University of Virginia in the NCAA tournament.  It's the first time EVER a number 16 seed beat a number one seed.

So now, on April 2nd, you can go to a participating Little Caesars between 11:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. and get yourself a free lunch. 

Of course, there ARE rules and disclaimers, including:

 Offer good during each Participating Store’s 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. window on April 2, 2018 or while supplies last, whichever occurs first. Offer expires and will not be redeemable after 1:00 p.m. (local time) (or while supplies last) on April 2, 2018. TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST PLACE YOUR ORDER NO LATER THAN 1:00 P.M. (LOCAL TIME). IF YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER AFTERWARDS, EVEN IF YOU WERE IN LINE AT 1:00 P.M. (LOCAL TIME), THE OFFER WILL HAVE EXPIRED AND WILL NOT BE FULFILLED. 

Again, it's not til April 2nd.... and it's only for an hour and a half.
