Drew Brees Gives Prosthetic Leg to High School QB

New Orleans Saints quarterback is not just a legendary quarterback for Who Dat Nation; he's also a great human being. The other day, he was in San Diego to present a prosthetic leg to a high school quarterback.

According to ESPN, Alex Ruiz wears #9 because he's a big fan of our Saints quarterback. Ruiz had his leg amputated below the knee after suffering a severe injury on the football field. Drew Brees is also going to pay for his training once Ruiz gets used to the prosthesis.

In case you're wondering, Drew heard about the kid when a friend in San Diego County called and told him the story. He'd already sent him a jersey but was hoping he'd one day get the chance to meet him. This was set up awhile ago, and everyone had to keep it secret from Alex.

The inspiring story is on ESPN's site.
