iHeartRadio Delivers Moe's BBQ to Support Ronald McDonald House

posted by Mason -

If you missed out on some delicious Moe's barbecue today, then you missed the Moe's BBQ lunch to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile. Many of our iHeartRadio team members and several other volunteers took to the streets to deliver a great lunch to the many generous people and businesses who ordered. The meals were totally sold out!

I had a couple of deliveries today, including to the folks at Augusta Evans School. Talk about re-living my pizza delivery days in the 80s!

If you're not totally familiar with the work of Ronald McDonald House, it's really simple and incredibly important. They keep family close when a child is seriously ill and receiving treatment nearby. For most families, the hospital stay is plenty stressful and costly enough. If family lives out of town, there are hotels and food and a sense of being overwhelmed with it all. The Ronald McDonald House provides a supportive home environment for these families, and it's on the campus of the USA Children's and Women's Hospital. So a parent is just a few steps away from their child. That's why the Ronald McDonald House is called The House that Love Built

If you were unable to help by enjoying a tasty lunch delivery, the Ronald McDonald House has several other great fundraisers throughout the year -- including the Little Black Dress event, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Lights of Love, and more. Or you can simply make a donation to RMHC Charities of Mobile.

Moe's BBQ Lunch for Ronald McDonald House

Thanks to Moe's Original Barbecue for generously cooking up these great lunches, and for the volunteers who made the deliveries -- along with everyone who ordered. Keep your eyes and ears open for next year's Moe's BBQ lunch, and don't miss out.
