Have you ever shopped under the influence?
A new survey claims about half of Americans admit to buzzed buying... to the tune of an average of $450 a year.
What are we buying? Mostly food, shoes and clothes. And the occasional rubber chicken (at least according to the tweet posted below!)
The survey broke it down by what people were drinking at the time -- gin drinkers tended to spend the most while beer and whiskey drinkers were a bit more conservative.
Is this better or worse than drunk texting? Probably a bit better, but still dangerous. One ruins relationships; the other ruins your bank account. But at least with drunk shopping, you can always return what you've bought when you sober up.
Texts aren't that easy to take back.
