Mobile Inventor of Super Soaker on A&E Biography

Nuclear engineer, credited by Popular Mechanics with one of the top 10 new world-changing innovations.

Toy inventor.

And extremely successful in both fields.  Though you're probably a lot more familiar with the toy... the Super Soaker, one of our summertime favorites around here.

According to this A&E Biography video, Johnson used one (the toy) to finance the other.

He was working on the Galileo spacecraft for NASA when he came up with the idea for the Super Soaker.
