LOVE seeing all the 1st Day of School photos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
It's fun to see the excited (and sometimes, not so excited) kids ready to start a new year with new school clothes, backpacks, and probably that box of crayons (still my favorite thing about back to school... LOVED the smell of a new box of crayons!)
Shelby County Alabama schools encouraged everyone in the school system to share their 1st Day of School photos and they got lots of 'em.... including some you probably hadn't seen shared before.
Teachers.
Crossing guard.
Custodians.
And this guy... the school resource officer.
