One of the many things to love about the Original Oyster House is the view from the restaurant, at both locations. The Mobile Causeway location offers an incredible view of Mobile Bay and the city's skyline behind it. The Gulf Shores location is on Little Lagoon and also makes for some gorgeous views. It's a photographer's dream, especially at sunset.
For the last couple of years, the Original Oyster House has offered up its Spectacular Sunset Contest. This year's winner is Brian Standridge of Hayden, Alabama. His photo was selected because of what the judges at the Original Oyster House said was "the reflected array of brilliant colors that shimmered on Little Lagoon.
