Peele Steps Into Twilight Zone And We're So Ready

Jordan Peele is officially stepping into the Twilight Zone, and I can't think of anybody better to handle the job.

He's a writer who knows how to be scary. Peele won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for "Get Out," the horror movie filmed locally in Mobile and Fairhope . And he's a comedian ( Key & Peele ). Don't you need a bit of both to do this show right?

The new series was teased last night during the Super Bowl... opening "the door" to a whole new Twilight Zone experience. The reboot premieres on the video-streaming service, CBS All Access, on April 1st.

I don't know about you, but I have very vivid memories (and a few nightmares) from the original Rod Serling version that ran from 1958 to 1964 and has marathon showings on a regular basis.

William Shatner's monster on the airplane wing may be one of the best ever. Remember that one?

Guest stars like Shatner and Burgess Meredith made the Twilight Zone. Looking forward to seeing who Peele gets for HIS version!
