Maybe the 3rd time's the charm for the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Let's hope so!
First, they hoped to make a big splash with the Rolling Stones on their May 2nd lineup... but Mick Jagger had to have a heart valve replacement and the Stones postponed their tour.
So they opted for Fleetwood Mac... and less than a week later, Fleetwood Mac postpones THEIR tour, because Stevie Nicks has the flu.
So now Jazz Fest organizers are pinning their hopes on a group whose members are a little bit younger and hopefully in better health--- Widespread Panic.
Jazz Fest, I'm sure, is hoping this one will stick... because they're tired of panicking.
