Grand Bay's Rod Stokes Makes Top 13 on 'The Voice'!

I was wrong. And I'm glad.

I was afraid the Gregg Allman song that Rod Stokes sang last night wasn't enough of a showpiece... it didn't have an "oh wow" moment that would make America vote. (I wasn't the only one who felt that way...see my blog post from last night)

Apparently, America was happy with the song and his performance, because Rod Stokes made the cut (from Top 24 to Top 12.... actually 13, but that's a long story on how they added that one).

The Grand Bay singer is joined by 2 others from our general area-- Dexter Roberts of Fayette, Alabama, and Kim Cherry of Niceville, Florida,

Next Monday, another round, another song....and another vote. So get ready!

Oh, and about that song and his performance?

Just like when he sang Michael Bolton, he got a tweet from Gregg Allman!
