RIP, Leon Redbone. I'll Miss Your Christmas Music Most!

Leon Redbone has died, at the age of 69.

He retired from music in 2015... and one of his most popular songs in concert was “Please Don’t Talk About Me When I’m Gone” ... but I'm going to.

I loved his Christmas music.

We only had 2 Christmas cassettes back in the day and when we would drive around looking at Christmas lights, we listened to "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and Leon Redbone's "Christmas Island" ... and hearing those songs brings back so many wonderful memories.

And then there's the Elf soundtrack... "Baby It's Cold Outside" with Zooey Deschanel.

I know it's a zillion degrees outside right now, but I'm feeling some bigtime Christmas nostaglia and maybe some snowflakes.

RIP Leon Redbone. Merry Christmas.
