WATCH: Ed Sheeran's Idea Becomes A Heinz Ketchup Commercial

Ed Sheeran is showing his love for ketchup in a new Heinz ad. And I love it, because we've all wanted to do something like this in a "super posh" restaurant, am I right?

The commercial shows Sheeran in a fancy restaurant, adding Heinz ketchup to a plate of vegetables. (Cue the horror stricken faces of the chef, waiter and patrons.) He calls the condiment "the only thing that would complete me."

Sheeran pitched the idea for the ad to Heinz on Instagram in April. He and the company also teamed up on his own limited-edition line of Edchup, which sold out earlier this month shortly after its release.

From Ed's Insta:

"Okay guyz, so it actually happened. I sent a voice note to @heinz, and we made a whole tv spot around it. This is pretty much what I was aiming for in life. Ketchup ad > stadium tour."

From the Heinz YouTube:

"Heinz Tomato Ketchup superfan, Ed Sheeran, came to us with a great idea for a Heinz Advert based on his own experience. We were thrilled to make it happen. From one super fan to another. It has to be Ed Sheeran and Heinz."

(Would LOVE to know what restaurant he did this in!)
