A Louisiana copycat is facing charges after posting a video on Facebook showing him licking a carton of Blue Bell ice cream and putting it back in the freezer at a store in Belle Rose, Louisiana.
The reaction was swift. Lenise Martin III was arrested, charged with criminal mischief for tampering with property... and unlawful posting of criminal activity for notoriety and publicity.
Even though he said he actually bought the carton he licked (and yes, he had a receipt), the sheriff says that doesn't absolve him of wrongdoing. Especially since he posted it on Facebook.
Maybe this swift justice will keep others from trying to copycat the video that started this whole thing.

Police in Lufkin, Texas say the suspect is a juvenile from San Antonio who was in the city visiting her boyfriend's family. The video ended up on social media earlier this week with the Brenham-based creamery saying they were doing all they can to find the culprit. It's unclear what charges she may face.
