I used to love back to school shopping... all those new boxes of crayons... unsharpened pencils... brightly colored folders.
And I always over-bought. I still have crayons!
And there's something about the Sales Tax Holiday that makes me want to buy a few more!
This weekend, Friday July 19- Sunday July 21, the state of Alabama is dropping its share of sales tax on certain items for back to school... including clothing ($100 or less), computers ($750 or less), books and more.
Most cities and counties are also dropping THEIR share of the sales tax... including Mobile and Baldwin counties.
However, there are a few exceptions... like Escambia County, Alabama.... McIntosh... and Perdido Beach. Get the whole list HERE.
