Jak is fine! The Mississippi State mascot was in the wrong place at the wrong time when Auburn running back Boobee Whitlow collided with the bulldog out of bounds.At that moment, Jak seriously looked like he was reconsidering his career as a sideline mascot. There he is, just innocently doing mascot things when this happens. Jak was taken off the field for a while but eventually returned to watch his team take an even bigger beating than the one Jak (accidentally) received.
Jak suffered a couple of bruises, one to the chin and one to his right hind leg. He'll get a week to recover and is expected back on the field when Tennessee travels to Starkville to take on the Bulldogs.
