Parents WANT Crying Kids With Santa Pics?

When I took Becca to see Santa for the first time, it wasn't a big deal. We just happened to be in Dillards, Santa happened to be available, and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

And she did fine. It didn't even occur to me that she could cry or fuss, til someone remarked about it.

Then I remembered her cousin's photo from when she was 2 or 3... crying her eyes out.

I admit, sometimes I think the crying photos are more fun than the sweet photos.... but now parents are WANTING their kids to cry?

AJC talked to one mom who said she felt bad for her child, “but it’s worth the short bit of distress for me just to have the really funny memory of Christmas and the obligatory Santa photo,”

Apparently, a crying kid gets more attention on social media, so some parents are actually disappointed if their kid doesn't take the bait.

Some are even taking their kids to photographers who specialize in crying kid photos.
