According to a new survey, the majority of Americans say they're cheating on their partner with FOOD.
71% of people say they sometimes secretly make unhealthy food choices behind their partner's back. And 55% have hidden food from their partner somewhere in the house.
Ok, so most of us know that cheating isn't good, right? So why are we doing this?
Then there's the flip side... 68% of people say their partner has had a negative influence on their healthy eating habits. So are we trying to justify our "cheating" in order to protect our partners?
Eh... sometimes I do sneak a treat that I know my husband shouldn't have. Other times, I sneak because I don't want him telling me that I'm the one who shouldn't have it.
And sometimes... like with my coveted stash of chocolate covered cherries from Christmas... I hide them to make them last longer.
Once the family finds them, they're gone!
