Sheriff Asks For New Leads in "Tiger King"-Related Case

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister is reviewing the Don Lewis missing persons case because of the popularity of "Tiger King"--- "I figured it was time to use the popularity of the show to see if anyone wanted to come forward with new leads."

Chronister reportedly has gotten at least six new leads a day about Lewis over the past week.

Lewis, a Tampa millionaire and former husband of Big Cat Rescue's Carole Baskin, disappeared in 1997... and there are all kinds of theories bandied about in "Tiger King" (episode 3).

The Sheriff is debunking some of the theories from the show... like the one about meat grinder.... and the one about him being buried under the septic tank. But he'd still like to know what really happened to Don Lewis.
