A Georgia bar is literally pulling money off its walls to pay its staff. Customers of the Sand Bar in Tybee Island have been writing notes on one dollar bills and stapling them to the wall for almost 15 years. But because of the coronavirus pandemic, the bar's owners had to get creative with how to pay its staff.
They pulled down more than 37-hundred dollars off the walls.
For those wondering about the dollar bills on the walls at McGuire's in Pensacola... they're most likely still intact (though the suggestion has been made on Facebook ). McGuire's is still open, serving meals curbside.
