Food Trucks In The 'Hood

Staying at home has some of us at a disadvantage, because our culinary options are limited.

It wasn't just a matter of stocking up the pantry at my house. It's what to do with what I've got! I've never been much of a cook (which my kids will quickly attest to) and once I'd gone through my "usual suspects" when it came to meals, we resorted to a lot of take out.

Then we started seeing neighbors on Facebook talking about NEW options... using some community spaces for food trucks.

The first truck was quickly overwhelmed with people and ran out of food.

Then we started getting more options. And some let you text in orders ahead of time, so we're not all standing around or sitting in our cars, waiting.

Now it looks like our neighborhood is making this a regular thing... even planning a "Let's Eat In The Street" weekend.

And I've heard other neighborhoods doing the same thing.

Here's a list of some of the ones we've had come by....what's good in your 'hood?
