Saints Take Over 4 Floors of New Orleans Hotel, To Guard Against COVID-19

The New Orleans Saints are renting four floors of a hotel where players, coaches, and staff can stay until the NFL season opens.

Team owner Gayle Benson is paying for four full floors of the Loews Hotel in New Orleans to guard against the coronavirus. No one is being ordered to stay there but Coach Sean Payton estimated that 155 of the Saints' 180 employees will choose quarantine in the hotel.

Payton said the Saints want to do everything they can to make sure players, coaches, and staff are safe and healthy when the season begins next month.
