THE WHARF UNCORKED FOOD & DRINKS FESTIVALThurs-Sat, The Wharf, Orange Beach

The three day event combines tastings of delicious food and tantalizing wines, live entertainment, and more. The Wharf Uncorked features demos from renowned chefs, cuisine and wine tasting tents, plus live and silent auctions benefiting the Make A Wish foundation.  It all leads up to the Grand Tasting Saturday from 4pm to 7:30pm.  Main Street and Wharf Parkway will be lined with vendors offering samples of the finest food, wine, beer, and spirits.  CLICK HERE    


FLORIDA CHEF CHALLENGEThurs 6pm-9pm, Sanders Beach, Pensacola

It’s a night of culinary fun as local chefs compete-all in the name of ending hunger. Enjoy sampling of dishes, complimentary beer and wine, and the savory sounds of local jazz band, Roman Street. All proceeds benefit Feeding the Gulf Coast.  CLICK HERE

Join sports legend Bo Jackson as he hosts this epic Food Sport Challenge - as restaurant chefs compete to create a Hall of Fame worthy dish with Bo's Signature HamBurger Beef and amateur cook teams battle to produce their best version of Bo's Grand Slam Burger. Taste of the Beach is fun for the whole family. The event will consist of chefs' challenges, cook-offs, live music, tastings, restaurants' signature dishes, a frozen zone, dining tent, hospitality tent, kids area, t-shirt sales and much more! "DESIRE, DESIRE, DESIRE"-Another Tennessee Williams parody, from the author of “For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls”. Blanche DuBois, her nerves shot, is stuck in a house with a slobby Stanley Kowalski, who keeps yelling "Stella!"

 "PAPER THIN" - Lucrece and Gerald have had a good marriage, in Lucrece's opinion. Late in life, they had one son, as they'd planned, and now, after watching Gerald recover from heart surgery, Lucrece has reminded Gerald of another thing they'd planned on: Getting a divorce.  CLICK HERE

In 1711 the Pirates stormed Mobile Bay and attacked the Island that was once called Massacre Island, because of a huge pile of human skeletons that was discovered by Pierre Le Moyne. 11th Annual GO RUNSat 8am, Moulton Tower, USA campus

USA Mitchell Cancer Institute is hosting the 11th Annual GO Run to benefit gynecologic cancer research, with a 5K at 8am and a Fun Run at 9. The event will include prizes, music, vendor booths, food, and children’s activities.   CLICK HERE
