POARCH CREEK INDIAN THANKSGIVING POW WOW - Thurs/Fri 10am (gates open); Grand Entry 1pm on Thursday, 12 noon on Friday, Poarch Creek Indian Reservation, 6477 Jack Springs Road, Atmore

The Poarch Creek Indian Reservation in Atmore will hold its 48th annual Pow Wow; the annual event features dancing, drumming contest, a Princess contest, a singing contest and more.  CLICK HERE    


ELF PARADEFri 4pm, old Escambia County Courthouse, 223 Palafox Place, downtown Pensacola

Costumed kids of all ages march alongside an alligator "second line" brass band, Santa, and our characters from stops in the Winterfest Performance Tour. The six-block route takes about 20 minutes, and includes a Christmas song battle, tumbling snowflakes, and plenty of cheer. Parade followed by First City Lights festival kickoff and fireworks!  Elf ears required. MAGIC CHRISTMAS IN LIGHTSNightly Nov 23- Dec 31 (except Christmas Day) 5pm- 9pm, Bellingrath Gardens, Theodore
