MAGIC CHRISTMAS IN LIGHTS PREVIEW- Sun 6pm-9pm, Bellingrath Gardens and Home, Theodore

The Magic Christmas in Lights Preview will be an elegant evening in the Gardens, with heavy hors d’oeuvres, libations/adult beverages and musical entertainment by Ryan Balthrop. The Preview is a fundraiser for the Bellingrath Gardens and Home Foundation, which was created in 2004 to assist with garden enhancements, special events, educational programs and capital projects. CLICK HERE

LIGHTING OF THE TREE- Fri 5pm-8pm, Mardi Gras Park, downtown Mobile

The City of Mobile welcomes in the holiday season with pictures with Santa, live entertainment, a merry market, and Mixen the Reindeer (from Mix 99.9 The Christmas Station). Santa and the Mayor will light up the tree at 6:10pm! CLICK HERE 

And during the Tree Lighting Celebration in Mardi Gras Park, head across the street to the History Museum of Mobile to write letters to Santa! CLICK HERE  

FAIRHOPE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING- Thurs 5:30pm-7:30pm, downtown Fairhope

The lights come on at 6 p.m. sharp! Entertainment includes the Fairhope High School band, the Fairhope Middle School band, and the Eastern Shore Choral Society. Mrs. Claus will be passing out candy canes and letting children write a wish list to Santa. CLICK HERE

The Alabama School of the Arts at University of Mobile presents its popular musical extravaganza, “Christmas Spectacular,” for the 17th year.
