KITES OVER MOBILE- Sat 10am-5pm; Sun 12noon-5pm, Battleship Memorial Park

Join the City of Mobile for the first-ever “Kites Over Mobile” kite festival! Chicago Kite will demonstrate their large-scale and trick kites at this family-friendly event. Bring, buy or build a kite and watch it soar with the pros! The weekend festival will feature food trucks, a live DJ and more. Parking is $4, but admission to the event is free. CLICK HERE

LODA ARTWALK- Fri 6pm-9pm, Lower Dauphin Arts District, downtown Mobile

The April LoDa ArtWalk celebrates National Poetry Month and Kites Over Mobile! This hybrid event will feature local artists, arts organizations, and downtown businesses – including gallery tours, musical performances, poetry readings, live glassblowing, kite crafting, and more.  CLICK HERE

ROLL MOBILE SKATE NIGHT- Fri 6pm-9pm, Bienville Square, downtown Mobile

Mobile Parks and Recreation is closing off the streets and turning Bienville Square into a giant roller rink with lights, a live DJ, and even the hokey pokey! Fun for all ages! (We highly recommend quad skates or inline skates with softer street wheels.) CLICK HERE

OPERA AFTER DARK- Fri 8pm, UWF Historic Trust Museum Plaza, Pensacola

Opera After Dark is a unique, free outdoor concert, featuring professional singers in an exciting performance under the stars. Guests will receive free glow sticks and be able to purchase refreshments from local food trucks and vendors. CLICK HERE 

LEGENDS IN CONCERT: CELEBRATE VEGAS - Wed-Sat 7pm, Sun 3pm, through May 30; OWA Theater, OWA, Foley

Celebrate Vegas will feature four artists that have had the greatest impact on the entertainment capital of the world over the last 60 years. The line-up will include tributes to the stars of the original residencies in Las Vegas, the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra and the King of Rock ‘n Roll, Elvis Presley, as well as the Goddess of Pop, Cher, and Lady Gaga, the hottest ticket on the strip in recent years. SPRING FOOD TRUCK FEST PENSACOLA- Sun 11am-8pm, Community Maritime Park, Pensacola

There will be Food Trucks, Vendors, Live Entertainment, a Food Truck Tasting competition, and a bounce house for the kids. A portion of the proceeds goes to Feeding the Gulf Coast. CLICK HERE  

BANDS ON THE BLACKWATER: 12ELEVEN- Fri 7pm-9pm, Jernigan’s Landing, Milton

The Spring Series offers a variety of music from local favorites to national touring bands. Bluegrass, country, blues and rock and roll will be performed on the stage in Downtown Milton. Blankets, chairs, and coolers are welcome. No glass containers are allowed. Dancing is highly encouraged!! CLICK HERE   

MUSIC AT MEYER PARK: THE SELFLESS LOVERS- Thursday 6pm, Meyer Park, Gulf Shores

REENACTMENT OF THE BATTLE OF FORT BLAKELEY- Sat 9:30am-4pm, Blakeley State Park, Spanish Fort

To commemorate the 156th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Blakeley, Historic Blakeley State Park will host a special day of living history and educational programming capped off by one of the largest reenactments of the battle in several years! CLICK HERE
