FLORA-BAMA INTERSTATE MULLET TOSS- Fri-Sun, Flora-Bama Lounge, Perdido Key

Those who participate in the Mullet Toss will throw a dead mullet over the state line of Florida and Alabama to see who gets the farthest. Tossing of the mullet is 10am to 4pm Friday through Sunday, with kids toss at 10am and adults beginning at noon until 4pm, owners & celebrity tossers at 4pm, then finals each day at 4:30pm. It is $15 to toss a mullet and all tossers receive a t-shirt. Proceeds go to local charities. CLICK HERE

The Spring Series offers a variety of music from local favorites to national touring bands. Bluegrass, country, blues and rock and roll will be performed on the stage in Downtown Milton. In honor of Earth Day, Mobile Parks & Recreation is showing the classic Dr. Seuss tale about the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his environment. Circles will be laid out so families can enjoy the film while social distancing. The movie will begin promptly at dusk. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket!
