FLAG LOWERING CEREMONY- Thurs 7am, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park

The South Alabama Veterans Council will hold a Flag Lowering Ceremony Thursday, November 11, at 7:00 a.m. at the Vietnam Memorial in honor of Veterans Day. The event is free to attend and the public is invited. CLICK HERE

VETERANS DAY CONCERT - 7pm, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park

End Veterans Day at this moving concert presented by the Mobile Symphonic Pops Orchestra. The program includes patriotic music by favorite American composures. The concert features a salute to our veterans. Free of charge and the public is invited to attend. To be held in the Medal of Honor Aircraft Pavilion.  CLICK HERE   

MILTON VETERANS DAY PARADE- Thurs 9am; starts at Milton high school and ends at Veterans Memorial Plaza, with ceremony at 11am. CLICK HERE  

PENSACOLA VETERANS DAY CEREMONY- Thurs 11am, Veterans Memorial Park of Pensacola

Major General John P. Stokes, retired, the former Director of Air, Space and Information Operations at the Air Force Command at Robins Air Force Base, will be the Keynote Speaker. Musical selections will be performed by the Pensacola Opera Chorus.  CLICK HERE  

UCP CHRISTMAS NIGHTS OF LIGHTS 5K & FUN RUN- Thurs 6pm, Hank Aaron Stadium, Mobile
